Resistance 3

r2 reminds me a little of killzone 2 it was a good game as a whole, but it didnt have a resistance feel to it at all, they changed to many things specially the colours which really set the mood for RFoM.

janie its to bad u dont play the campaign, Resistance has one hell of a story to it, in about a month im going to start to re-play RFoM story then do the same with the second and by the time i finish that one the 3rd should be close to release, i forget alot of the story.

we were able to do the site up pretty nice, hardesrt things to do were to find small icons and such much like the clan tag to represent new/old posts, maybe if you are good at making banners we could use one as you can see ours is a little shabby lol

looks good not relly much new info tho, however JStevenson from insomniac games has posted that there will be mp details later this week, or rather he made a very strong hint towards it, cant wait.

The carbine already looks weak as shit... 8v8 wtf? Unless there's a good CTF map if they even bring that back, I'm cool with that, but 8v8 in TDM isn't too enthralling for me. Feels like R2 all over again...

Single Player

.Weapon wheel from the original Resistance returns

.Each weapon has primary and secondary fire

.All weapons are upgradeable

.Open level design will allow you to tackle scenarios based on your playstyle

Multiplayer

.All maps will be located outside of the U.S., one example is a prison map located in the Republic of Chad

.Each map will have objective-based game modes: Mode shown at GDC is Team Deathmatch

.Max player count has decreased for “a more focused experience”: Resistance – 40, Resistance 2 – 60, Resistance 3 – 16 (8v8)

.Passive abilities: Used to tailor gameplay according to your playstyle. For instance, run-and-gunners can gain an ability to increase accuracy

.Active abilities: Must be activated by players and can be mapped to the D-pad. Abilities include giving health or ammo to allies, creating a doppleganger that will position themselves next to you on the battlefield, or activating an “electric hoolahoop” of sorts that will damage opponents who come in for a melee attack

.Species-specific kill streak bonuses: For example, kill three people as a Chimera and a temporary cloak ability will activate. Humans will have different kill streak bonuses.

i wouldnt recomend pre-ordering just yet because at this point you wont know which special pre-order package u will receive, beta code is said to be with certain pre-order's, or from certain websites or stores others will have collectors figures and such. Im waiting to see where i can pre-order the game with early access beta code
