I see they've released this video @ Gamescom in Germany.... I was @ the developer website and except for this video no info is available..... I hope it's not like R2

yeah i hope so too, but my opinion is that insomniac games must have knowledge that the fans of the resistance series were anything but impressed with R2's online dvelopment, this possibly means they may want to return to the classic style or maybe going to try something new all togather

thgis video was basically the announcement. we wont see screenshots or game-play for a few monthes. as soon as i find more info il post it here

R3 needs to be just like R1 but with new shit added to it so its not totally the same.

according to that website the Release Date is : 9/1/2011... wtf

yeah i seen the cover of GI magazine a read the article about it, new info is comming slowly, also if you go on youtube there is the 'Resistance 3 soundtrack" which is said to be the main menu theme song 4 the game. plus the new screenshots\concept art. main things are the new weapon "the mutator", the weapon wheel returns, malikov lives, capelli and a new charactor are the main people, NO MORE WRAITH!!!!, games will no longer be 60p, 40 is the limit, plus few more additions, nothing quite spectacular yet, and not much word on the multiplayer so far.

as far as a release date.. apparently insomniac games has not confirmed anything on the games release date, only menttioned it will be in 2011, im guessing neer the end of the year.
